why I Do What I Do

Photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My love for it started when I was eight years old, thanks to my grandparents, who gifted me my first camera. I fell in love with capturing the beauty of the world around me, but over time, I realized what really lights me up—helping people see the beauty in themselves.

I’m based in Lincoln, Nebraska, where I spend my time with my fun, free-spirited daughter, Indigo. She keeps me on my toes, challenges me in the best ways, and reminds me how important it is to embrace who we are, exactly as we are. That’s the energy I bring to my photography—celebrating you, just as you are today.

But my journey hasn’t always been easy. I’ve been through struggles that have shaped me, pushed me, and ultimately taught me the power of self-acceptance and healing. Through my own experiences, I’ve learned that our bodies, our stories, and our emotions all deserve to be honored. That’s why this work is so personal to me—I don’t just want to take beautiful photos of you, I want you to feel beautiful when you see them.
